Rising from the ashes of Darkwood Consort comes a new chamber music series: First Fridays at the Cathedral. Featuring high quality, locally produced chamber music, the First Fridays series showcases some of Boise’s most talented and enthusiastic classical musicians. The first concert “Opening Night” features the “Introduction and Allegro” for string quartet, harp, flute and clarinet by Maurice Ravel and Aaron Copland’s “Quiet City” for English horn and trumpet with string orchestra.
