To proselytize in parlance, local prog-pop/post-punk trio Finn Riggins will drop their sophomore effort, Vs. Wilderness (Tender Loving Empire), on Tuesday, Oct. 13. They will celebrate in style with their Boise fans in advance of the CD release.
They'll rock the Record Exchange with an all-ages in-store on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m.. Then they'll paaartay at Visual Arts Collective on Friday, Oct. 9, and anyone who buys Vs. Wilderness at the in-store gets a ticket to the VAC show (21 and older only at that shindig).
Local indie rockers Le Fleur join FR in Friday night's celebration, unleashing some of their own food for thought with their new release, Din Din. Two stages will allow FR and LeF to duke it out while Portland-based bands Boy Eats Drum Machine and Jared Mees and the Grown Children and Boise bands Vagerfly and A Season Disguise will keep the audience highly entertained.
Look for more on the new releases by Finn Riggins and Le Fleur in next week's issue.
