A teacher at a Coeur D'Alene private school will not be charged with any crimes for playing "strip hearts" with five fifth and sixth-grade male students.
According to a story in the Coeur D'Alene Press, Andy Armstrong, 42, taught some of his students the alternate version of the boring card game last month at a school-run camping trip in Hayden. He was fired last week. However, since he reportedly did not touch himself or the boys, take any photographs or require anyone to completely disrobe, Armstrong's actions do not fit under any current Idaho criminal statutes.
However, Twila Brown, the principal of the school where Armstrong worked was still cited for not reporting the possible "child abuse" situation incident within 24 hours, as required by Idaho law.
