When: Fri., Oct. 9, 5:30-11 p.m. 2015
The 2nd Annual Death Rattle Writers Festival Day 2 starts at the beautifully repurposed Lloyd Square lumberyard, in the Long House, with fiction from Christian Winn, Mathew Haynes and authors from all over Idaho and the Northwest. Then head over to the Flying M Coffeegarage at 8 p.m. for the premiere screening of Smoke, the film adaptation of Alan Heathcock’s short story from his award-winning book, Volt. Followed by Q&A with the author. Cap off the evening at Collective Record Store, where you can celebrate the art of hip-hop with Art of Verse, the L.A.-based hip-hop artist with spoken word-inspired rap. Idaho Falls' Leafraker will open.
