Street performers are in the spot light for the inaugural Boise Curb Cup. Playing off of Shakespeare's quote that all the worlds a stage, artists are invited to display their creativity and talents in front of a live voting audience. Performers have the chance to win more than 25 prizes, and the act with the most votes by token bestowed on them from the audience receives the coveted Curb Cup, a one-of-a-kind trophy and a $1,000 cash prize. The event is hosted by Curb Cup developer Mark Rivers, along with the Downtown Boise Association, GoListenBoise, Think Boise First, Capital City Development Corporation, TriCA, Boise Little Theater, Alley Repertory Theater, Trey McIntyre Project, the City of Boise Department of Arts and History, the Record Exchange, Urban Outfitters and Red Sky Public Relations.
