Color of Conscience Documentary

When: Thu., Oct. 26, 9 a.m. 2017

Marcia Franklin's incredible 2011 documentary will be screened just prior to two talks given by Tony Stewart and Norm Gissel on how to do effective grassroots advocacy for social justice. Stewart and Gissel helped found and lead the Kootenai County Task Force on Human Relations as it organized against the Aryan Nations and systemic discrimination for decades. Franklin's documentary tells that story, along with that of others in Idaho who've struggled recently to advance human rights. Sponsored by the Marilyn Shuler Human Rights Initiative at Boise State as part of Human Rights Week.
