The Twilight Criterium, the premier bike race in Boise, brings a lot of people to town and takes up a lot of square footage in downtown. With road closures starting at 7 a.m. for the Saturday event, the Capital City Public Market is taking its show down the road.

CCPM will operate during its normal hours, from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., but instead of occupying Eighth Street from the Grove to State Street, it will take place entirely in the Grove.

"The renovation [of the Grove] is phenomenal," wrote CCPM Executive Director Mona Warchol in a statement. "Please come down and support your local vendors who will be selling at their 'new-for-a-day' locations."

The market will return to its original size and shape Saturday, July 22.
