All kinds of events are happening during the eighth annual Canada Week symposium at Boise State April 6-9. Start the day by pouring on the Canadian maple syrup at a Canadian Pancake Breakfast from 7:45-9:45 a.m., on the Boise State Quad. From 10 a.m.-2 p.m., try your hand at the Fun Facts about Canada Challenge to win Canadian prizes from the Consulate and local restaurant gift certificates at the Marketing Booth on the first floor of the Boise State Student Union Building. In the evening from 7-8:30 p.m., head into the Bishop Barnwell Room for a panel presentation on clean energy initiatives with guest speakers Andy Ridge of Alberta Environment; Sandra Locke of Alberta Energy and Travis McLing of Idaho National Laboratory titled Meeting North America’s Evolving Energy Needs: Integrating Climate and Clean Energy Interests.
