Caldwell Rehab

by

Celebrity rehab sightings in Boise are on hold for another year.

Linda Dengler said she's on the verge of securing financing for her planned luxury drug and alcohol rehabilitation center, Bella Vista, in the Boise Foothills and hopes to have the 15-bed facility up and running by this time next year.

In the meantime, she's made her first foray into the rehab business in the Treasure Valley with the opening of a new facility in Caldwell.

Bow Creek Recovery Center is scheduled to open on Feb. 1, housing five patients at a time in a residential home near Middleton.

Located in an existing 2,500-square-foot, five-bedroom home on three acres, Dengler said she didn't want to wait for her 7,000-square-foot, Mediterranean-style facility in Boise (BW, News, "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous," Sept. 19, 2007).

"We thought we'd start with this small facility," she told BW. "There's such a huge need and it was going to take a year or more to get the other one up and running."

While Dengler will charge $17,000 per month for the Boise facility, Bow Creek is a comparable bargain at $13,000 per month, or $31,000 for three months.

If Bow Creek is successful, Dengler said she has plans to open additional treatment facilities around the Treasure Valley.

In the meantime, she's waiting for a decision from "some very large corporations" are considering funding Bella Vista.
