A newcomer has added its name to the roster of venues offering food and wine classes in downtown Boise. Brick Oven Bistro starts a series of cooking classes with Chef Brad Cowan on Tuesdays, starting Jan. 26, with Wine Tasting 101. Sure, that's nothing sexy, but for the novice, classes build from there with French wines on Feb. 2, Northwest wines on Feb. 9 and a pairing class on Feb. 16.
