Entry deadline: 5 p.m., Friday, May 29

It's lucky 13 for our annual Boise Weekly Black-and-White Photo Contest, which publishes in our June 17 edition.

Pull together your finest monochromatic work, and submit it to B&W Photo Contest, 523 Broad St., Boise, ID, 83702, by 5 p.m. on Friday, May 29 for your chance to win sweet, sweet prize money, publication in our paper and—for the first-place entry—exposure on the front cover and inclusion in the annual BW Cover Auction.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three entries in each of the three categories: People, Places and Things. Each submission is $5—that's where we get the prize money. Enter as many times as you want.

Technical specifications: black-and-white or monochrome photograph print; at least 8 inches in one dimension; and all photos must be mounted on white 16-inch by 20-inch poster board, foamcore or matboard. High quality digital prints are acceptable.

Other important specifications: Include your name, category, phone number and address on the back of each entry.
