This Cinco de Mayo weekend, Boise Weekly presents Boise Weekly Local Music Festival 2006. For three days, Neurolux, the Bouquet and Terrapin Station will be home to some of the area's best musicians.
Thursday night, May 4, Neurolux hosts Kris Doty, Kamphire Collective, and DJ Art Hodge. Doty plays at 9 p.m., Kamphire Collective begin their set at 10:20 p.m. and DJ Art Hodge finishes the night starting at 11:20 p.m.
On Friday, May 5, Brian Wilkinson sets the stage by taking the stage at 9 p.m. 12th of Never plays at 10 p.m., Midline at 11 p.m. and Evologic hits it at midnight.
On Saturday, May 6, Terrapin Station hosts Adison's Ghost starting at 9 p.m. The PirkQlaters play at 10 p.m., Jeremiah James and friends play at 11 p.m. and Rebecca Scott takes the stage at midnight.
We here at Boise Weekly are proud to be a part of this community and to do something proactive to bolster the local music scene. There's nothing worse than people who piss and moan about how bad they think something is, but they then do nothing to improve on it. That's just not our style.
Thanks to the musicians, the club owners (Allen, Erich and Lee, and Jason), artist Erin Ruiz and BW's own Tyler Bush for making this happening happen.
