Boise Rock School is known for teaching the Treasure Valley's littlest rockers how to shred, but BRS has something for the grownups who think they're too old to learn a new trick, too.
BRS holds its Adult Night on the second Thursday of each month, and the theme for the Feb. 11 event is "Starman a.k.a. David Bowie."
Attendees will be put in small groups and paired with an instructor, who will teach his or her "band" a song. At 9 p.m., each band will perform one song in a friendly battle of the bands.
It only costs $10 to live out your dream of being a rock star (at least for one night), and adults of any skill level are welcome whether you've been tickling the ivories for years or don't know the difference between a drumstick and a drum stick.
Email email@example.com or call 208-572-5055 with any questions and remember: You're never too old to rock 'n' roll.
