Boise River Clean Up

When: Thu., Aug. 13, 3-6 & 6-8 p.m. 2009

Start by banding together with a group of volunteers to spruce up the Boise River from Lucky Peak to Barber Park. Then, reap the rewards of the clean up efforts at the Wild Rivers Party at Municipal Park, 500 S. Walnut St., next to MK Nature Center in Boise with live music by the Bitterbrush Blues Band, food, Sockeye Brewery beer, Barefoot wine and raffle items. The Wild Rivers Party is for Idaho Rivers United members, guests and river cleanup volunteers. The party celebrates Idaho’s newest Wild and Scenic Rivers, 316 miles of the Bruneau, Jarbidge and Owyhee river basins. To volunteer for the river cleanup, contact Nikki Karpavich at Idaho Rivers United at 208-343-7481, or e-mail
