Join Professional Geologist Don Adair for a new road tour along the Boise Ridge on the western margin of the Boise Basin to Hawley Mountain Lookout. You’ll see pegmatites, eocene porphyry dike swarms and Columbia River basalt. Meet at the museum at 7:30 a.m. for an 8 a.m. departure. Dress for the weather, and take lunch and water. You'll return to Boise by 5 p.m. No preregistration needed.
