There's a very long list of free events at this year's bigger-than-ever Boise Pride, including non-stop performances on the Wells Fargo Main Stage on the evening of Friday, June 14, and the afternoon of Saturday, June 15. But there are a few tasty extras that you'll want to have some cash on hand to get through the door.
The first, on Wednesday, June 12, is actually a couple of evenings before Pride's official kickoff. On the 12th, you'll want to be at The Balcony for Stand Up for Pride ($30-45 at the door), an evening of top-drawer comedy. On Friday, June 14, hit the Egyptian for Mean Gays: The Drag Theatre Parody ($35-100), a one-night-only appearance of the wildly popular stage show. On Saturday, June 15, stop by Fatty's for the Svedka Pride Lounge ($10 cover at the door), featuring RuPaul's Drag Race-winner Aquaria.
