Boise Police Searching for Suspects After 13th Street Knife Attack

The Boise Police Department is asking for help from the public in identifying three men who were involved in a knife attack near Camel's Back Park in the early morning of May 24.

At approximately 12:45 a.m. near the corner of 13th and Heron streets, the victim and two other witnesses were reportedly approached by the suspects, who demanded money from each and cut one victim's neck with a knife, after which the suspects fled on foot.

The wounded victim was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and Boise Police attempted to track the suspects with a K9 unit, but their search was unsuccessful.

Two of the suspects have so far been described by the Boise Police: a 5'11 man, tall and thin with stringy hair; and a 6'3" man with facial hair and a thin build. Investigators are calling on anyone with knowledge of the incident or suspects to call dispatch at 208-377-6790, or Crime Stoppers at 208-343-COPS.
