The Boise City Council thinks it's high time to drill into the city's housing needs. That's why, when it convenes this Tuesday, July 22, the Council is expected to award a contract to Agnew Beck Consulting to perform a detailed analysis of Boise's housing needs and resources.

In its pitch to the city, which the Boise Planning and Development Services Department has determined to be the best proposal, Agnew Beck says it's prepared to provide some insight into housing for people working, studying and raising families in Boise, but to "match the scale of housing development to residents' ability to pay."

Agnew Beck, which also has offices in Anchorage, Alaska, opened its Boise office six years ago.
