Snow fell on Brundage Mountain the evening of Sept. 18-19.
The silver lining to the rain clouds that hovered over Boise for much of Tuesday was an unseasonably hefty snowfall at Bogus Basin
, Tamarack and Brundage Mountain near McCall. A couple of inches accumulated briefly at Bogus, though a mix of rain and snow overnight
is expected to wipe away those gains.
In a press release about ski resorts participating in a free/discount pass program, Brundage
announced 1-2 inches fell on the hill
the evening of Sept. 18-19.
An image uploaded to the
page of Tamarack
Resort showed the snows didn't skip over the southern half of Valley County.
While it's not enough to dust to put Boiseans on the hills, it's a taste of the possible depths of powder to come.
