It's Thanksgiving Day. The turkey's stuffed, it's hours until the potatoes need mashing and the cranberry sauce is chilling in the can. The lawn is raked, the gutters are free of leaves, and your dress clothes are already pressed and laid out. So what do you do with all your free time?
In the empty hours between waking up and sitting down for the big dinner, there's only one game in town: the Saint Alphonsus Festival of Trees at the Boise Centre, located at 850 W. Front St.
Check out the wreaths and trees, and, if the kids are along for the ride, let them sit on Santa's lap during the festival's hours of operation, 2-9 p.m.
Admission is FREE for children 2 and younger, $4 for seniors and children 3-12, and $7 for adults.
