After its May 2012 tour of Asia, Boise's Trey McIntyre Project was selected in a U.S. State Department pilot program called DanceMotion USA, which would provide a U.S. residency for an Asian dance company.
The company that was selected for the program, Korea National Contemporary Dance Company, arrived in Boise from Seoul Oct. 21. Little did its members know that McIntyre and his gang of dance hooligans were waiting for them at the airport with fresh new moves copped from the omnipresent YouTube hit Gangnam Style.
The video of the meeting is adorable. But at this point, let us all agree that Gangnam Style has officially ballet-leaped over the shark.
