How to Wakeboard Without a Boat in Boise


In the Wednesday, Sept. 12 issue, Boise Weekly will publish a first-person account of cable-boarding. What the f-u-number-sign-asterisk is that? Glad you asked. It's wakeboarding, but with the rider towed on a motorized cable instead of behind a boat—something that, up until this summer, you would have had to travel hundreds of miles to do.

But now, thanks to new BYU-graduate Jordan Johnson, you just have to go to Caldwell, where he opened Wake Central Cable Park.
