Misery may love company, but something much more uplifting enjoys company, as well: talent.
Today, you can check out the results of a collaborative effort from two well-known names in the Boise arts scene. Eli Craven and Erin Cunningham will debut a new exhibition of painting and photography at Visual Arts Collective called Wither and Bloom.
According to a press release:
Wither and Bloom is an interrogation by both artists into notions of truth in representation and the suggestive power of images upon memory. The artists examine the death of a moment, the loss of a person, their own mortality and what remains of those departed.
The opening reception takes place at 7 p.m. VAC is a 21-and-older venue, so leave the kiddies at home.
Boise Weekly will be on the scene, so check back at boiseweekly.com for a recap of the evening.
