This Memorial Day, get out of the house and immerse yourself in a night of themed storytelling. Story Story Night's Legends: Stories of Heroes and Epics will offer "true stories on a theme, live and without notes.” The evening will begin with featured storytellers Rachel Baxa, Terese Reynolds and Rick Overton, followed by an open story slam. Limited priority seating tickets are currently on sale for $7, and first-come, first-served tickets will be available the night of the event at 6:30 p.m. for $5. The show starts Monday, May 28, at 7 p.m. at The Rose Room, 718 W. Idaho St.
Tickets are also on sale now for comedian Kevin Hart's Let Me Explain Tour, which will be coming to the Morrison Center on Friday, July 20, at 7 p.m. A review from Hart’s performance in Memphis, Tenn., the first stop on the tour, assures audiences that Hart’s material is all new with a fantastic grand finale. Tickets are on sale for $57.50.
The theater production War Horse, which also takes place at the Morrison Center, still has some remaining tickets on sale. Though Morrison Center marketing director Scott Bodmer confirmed that tickets are sold out for the Thursday, June 7, performance, he said that there are still limited seats available for both Friday, June 8, and the matinee on Saturday, June 9. An additional show has been added on Wednesday, June 6, which still has good seats available. Tickets are currently on sale for $45-$75 at idahotickets.com.
