When I bought my iPhone a few months ago, the salesman gave me a bit of a funny look when I chose the iPhone 4 over the slightly more-advanced iPhone 4S. It was an understandable question, especially considering that crowds of tech-conscious fans routinely camp out for days to get their hands on the newest upgrades.
Was I just being cheap? Well, partially, but the larger influencing factor was that Siri scares me a bit. I had only just accepted the need to retire my flip phone, so the thought of my phone actually being able to talk back to me was a little too much. And for all I know, talking was just the start—what else could this fancy phone do? Especially when I wasn't looking ... or in the dark of the night ...
