You’ve heard the expression that refers to someone or something being “treated like dirt,” but have you ever stopped to consider what that actually means? The folks behind the award-winning documentary Dirt! The Movie have. Their message is one of conservation, preservation and the important role soil plays in sustaining life on planet Earth.
Jamie Lee Curtis narrates this documentary that features an international cast of activists and environmentalists committed to healing and nurturing the underappreciated source of fertility. Dirt! will be shown in the Farnsworth Room on the Boise State campus tonight at 6:30 p.m. as part of the university’s Earth Week celebration, and is FREE to attend.
