Boise Police: Two Suspects Wanted For Pre-Dawn Murder of Monkey at Zoo Boise

Boise Police are looking for two men who reportedly broke into Zoo Boise early this morning and allegedly killed a monkey.

Law enforcement received a call from zoo security at approximately 4:30 Saturday morning, saying two men were spotted running from the zoo, leaving a a Patas monkey lying dead near a perimeter fence.

Police officials said they used thermal imaging equipment to search for the suspects and clues.

Zoo Boise officials said staff administered care to the monkey, but the animal died shortly before dawn.
