Boise Police Bust Man Who Took Car For Test Drive But Never Returned

Joey Tudi, 36, is charged with grand theft.

A Boise man, who was selling his Chevy SUV, said a potential buyer took the car for a test drive Nov. 9 but never brought it back. But the suspected thief left his driver's license with the vehicle owner, who gave it to Boise Police.

Later that evening, Garden City Police said they spotted the stolen vehicle in a driveway on the 500 block of East 47th Avenue. They busted the suspect a short time later when police saw him walk to the vehicle.

Joey Tudi, 36, of Hammond Sport, N.Y., is charged with grand theft.
