N. Idaho Lawmaker Leaving House

St. Maries Republican Rep. Dick Harwood is the latest Idaho legislator to say he's packing it in and leaving the Statehouse after this session. The 64-year-old 12-year legislator told the Spokesman Review's Betsy Russell that he's decided not to run for another term.

Harwood serves as vice chair of the House Environment and Technology Committee, in addition to his serving on the Resources and Conservation, and Revenue and Taxation committees.

His Second District has included all of Benewah and Shoshone counties but reapportionment is moving the district to encompass all of Benewah and Latah Counties.
