Apparent Suicide at Women's Prison

An investigation is looking into the circumstances that led to an apparent suicide of an inmate at the Women's Correction Center in Pocatello. Cheryl Ann Spellmeyer, 48, was found in her cell Wednesday with an apparent binding wound on her neck. She was transported to the Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello where she died on Saturday.
