ExxonMobil is mum on when they're going to send a mega-load through Moscow. Idaho Transportation Department gave the OK for Exxon to roll two scaled-down mega-shipments up U.S. Highway 95 from Lewiston, through Moscow and through Coeur d'Alene, before heading East on Interstate 90 to Montana and up to the Kearl Oil Sands Project in Alberta, Canada.
The smaller of the two shipments traveled early Saturday morning and is currently parked at the Idaho/Montana border. But the larger shipment remained parked at the Port of Lewiston as of this morning.
Exxon is also awaiting final legal hurdles to be cleared before it can go through with its plans to haul 200 mega-loads across U.S. 12 in north central Idaho along the Clearwater and Lochsa rivers.
