The western edge of downtown Boise could soon see plans for a new specialty grocery store.
Cece Gassner, Boise's assistant for economic development told Citydesk that developers have been working with the city, fine-tuning plans for a 25,000-square-foot store for the area between 15th and 16th and Idaho and Bannock streets. Gassner said all sides are looking for a plan that opens up the design to an urban setting while serving as a gateway to the city's west end.
Gassner would not disclose the name of the store, but confirmed that it would be a part of a chain.
Plans are expected to be drafted and reviewed in formal hearings with the city sometime in September or October.
