The initiated may picket in front of the BW offices after this one--"We love Death Cab! Down with BW!"--but a DCFC show can get a wee bit nap-inducing. If fans are being honest with themselves, they'll agree. After an hour of music by the fey Washington-based foursome, it starts to sound the same. Even though we think it was one of the best lineups to hit Boise this year (brilliant appearances by Ra Ra Riot and Cold War Kids opened the show) and frontman Ben Gibbard delivered a high-energy performance and the audience stood on their feet for most of their set, the monotony that sometimes flows through DCFC's hands is like magic fingers lulling us to sleep. We would, of course, see them if they came again, but we just might drink a pot of coffee before we go.
