Best Local Sports Bar

Taphouse owner Brian Forde founded his brewpub with the goal of providing the most draft beer taps in the City of Trees, and although he didn't say anything about ambiance or TVs for watching the game, it's all three of these things that keep bringing the customers—and the votes—to Taphouse. Now voted Best Local Sports Bar for the third year running, it seems Taphouse has something of a streak to maintain, so test it out on the next Bronco game day with, say, a bacon and bleu burger with rosemary fries.

2nd Place: The Curb—With 20 beers on tap, American and Southwestern favorites in the kitchen and a bunch of big screen TVs on the walls, this Meridian eatery has everything a sports lover could want in his (or her) local hangout. If there's no game on the schedule, come in anyway—the live music and top-notch pub grub won't disappoint.

3rd Place: Legends—Located near the Edwards Boise Stadium 21 and IMAX complex, Legends takes its cues almost entirely from the big screen. Not only does it have one, but everything at Legends (especially the burgers) is just a bit larger than life. We hear the finger steaks and french dip sandwich are best bets from the menu.
