Best Local Secondhand Shop

Idaho Youth Ranch

IYR keeps the lights on at its caregiving facilities by selling some of Idaho best discoveries at its 29 thrift stores. Not only does IYR keep nearly 2,500 tons of reusable items out of local landfills, the furniture, clothing and electronics sold in the thrift shops are often good quality. Approximately 1,160,000 customer transactions were logged in 2013; that's testament enough that the deals can't be beat.

2nd Place: Outdoor Exchange—Let's face it, outdoor gear can be out-of-reach expensive. That's why so many of our readers end up at Outdoor Exchange for climbing, cycling, running, skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing gear. Add to that the variety of clothing, and you'll be happy to run in to Outdoor Exchange.

3rd Place: ReStyle—ReStyle Animal Rescue Thrift has expanded to a new location on Vista Avenue, the old location of Benchmark sporting goods. Used furniture, art, record albums, collectibles—you name it; ReStyle has a little bit of everything.
