Best Local Market

Boise Farmers Market

Every Saturday morning from April through October, the BFM pops up downtown on the corner of 10th and Grove streets to bring Boiseans local fruit, vegetables, herbs, bread, dairy products, desserts, flowers and more. There's no transaction more pure, or more rewarding, than handing money directly to farmers in exchange for labor from their own hands.

2nd Place: The Boise Co-op—If you're not willing to hit the streets in search of a farm stand, the Boise Co-op is as close as you can come to eating farm-to-table. Stop by to browse a stock of local and regional produce clearly labeled for transparency.

3rd Place: Capital City Public Market—Unlike the Boise Farmers Market, which focuses almost exclusively on farmers and food trucks, CCPM marries the traditional farmers market with a street fair, offering food, local art and other handmade goods to visitors.
