Known for outstanding customer service, Idaho Central Credit Union was founded in 1940. In 1941, ICCU reported $299 in assets and 22 members. Today, the homegrown financial institution has more than $2 billion in assets, 31 locations and more than 250,000 customers—plus, ICCU employees volunteer thousands of hours every year to support community events across the Gem State.

2nd Place: CapEd Credit Union—This credit union was formed in 1936 when a handful of teachers joined together to start the Boise Teachers Federal Credit Union. Today, it serves more than 65,000 educators.

3rd Place: D.L. Evans—Named for founder and then-State Sen. D.L. Evans in 1904, this lender began in a modest one-story building in 1904. Now, it has 29 branches across the Gem State and has a reputation for being the best bank for small businesses.
