Bathrobe-wearing dealers Busted in the Burbs

Oodles of recent meth-related arrests in the Treasure Valley have left the local upper market ripe for new franchises. Smelling their big break, two Kuna cave-dwellers took recently a short and disastrous plunge into the world of home business-and both have ended up in Ada County Jail. Kevin Mortensen, 28, and Heather Channel, 33, both of Kuna, were arrested on June 7 and charged with controlled substance delivery/manufacturing after starting up a meth lab in a residential neighborhood.

According to a release from Ada County Sheriffs, Mortensen and Channel's lab was in the early stages of production, and had not been contributing to the local drugscape for very long. Idaho State Police, Boise Fire Hazmat, the Kuna Fire Department and Ada County EMS needed only about four and a half hours to clean up the chemical supply and drug supplies in various stages of processing.
