BAM Independence Day

Count Boise Art Museum among the things to do this Fourth of July. From children to adults, art novices to art history buffs, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The ARTexperience Gallery, BAM’s interactive space geared specifically toward children age 12 and younger (accompanied by an adult), enables kids to investigate how art is made, who makes it, and the ways in which ideas, feelings, creative approaches and meanings are communicated through visual forms. Plus current exhibitions: Bricks and Stones, with dazzling murals made from LEGO® bricks; When Modern Was Contemporary, with masterworks by 52 of the 20th century’s most influential artists; and the 2017 Idaho Triennial, with 41 works by 24 Idaho artists.
