Ballet Idaho: '(re)Define'

Morrison Center, Friday and Saturday, Feb. 8 and 9

by

Ballet Idaho's upcoming performance, (re)Define, is just what is sounds like—a collection of repertoire that challenges the definition of dance and explores its outermost limits. Sourced from five stylistically diverse choreographers, including George Balanchine, Alejandro Cerrudo, Craig Davidson, Penny Saunders and Danielle Rowe, the production will include works ranging from the classically technical (Balanchine's "Allegro Brillante") to the emotionally direct (the world premier of Rowe's "Dreamland"). Full descriptions of the performance's five parts can be found on Ballet Idaho's website alongside a peek behind the scenes of "Dreamland" for those too excited to wait.
