- Nate Blakeslee speaks in Boise on Wednesday, Nov. 1.
American Wolf is set all across the American west, but its subject—wolves—is one of particular import to the Gem State, where the species has become a point of contention and the target of so-called predator derbies.
Blakeslee will be in Boise on Wednesday, Nov. 1, for a discussion about his book and its relevance to the debate surrounding wolves in Idaho, courtesy of the Idaho Conservation League and Rediscovered Books.
The event runs 7-9 p.m., and tickets are $35, which includes a copy of the book—plus, $10 of the ticket price benefits ICL. Admission for two is $55, which includes a copy of the book, a $10 donation to ICL and a donation of a copy of American Wolf to a local library.
