Annual Owyhee Spring Outings Series

When: Sat., April 18, Sat., April 25, Sun., April 26, Sat., May 16 and Fri., May 22 2009

The outings offered each spring are organized by the Idaho Conservation League, The Wilderness Society, Sierra Club and Idaho Rivers United. The outings are a great opportunity to experience the Owyhee region, and learn more about Idaho’s unique desert ecosystem. Space is limited, and registration is required. On April 18: Leslie Gulch Hike; April 25: Shoofly Creek Hike and Wildlife Watch and Hike to Indian Hot Springs; April 25-27: Campout at Bruneau Dunes State Park; April 25: North Fork Owyhee River Family Hike; April 25 or April 26: Sage Grouse at Sunrise; May 16: Photography at Bruneau Overlook; May 22: Avondale Basin Bird Watching Hike.

Price: donation of $5 for members and $10 for nonmembers is requested
