And The Winners Are ...

Coldest beer, warmest beer and everyone in between

29.1º

ROMANO'S

MACARONI GRILL

980 N. Milwaukee Rd., 323-4445

Su-Th: 11 a.m.-10 p.m., F-Sa: 11 a.m.-11 a.m.

$3.25, Coors Light

Located on the mall loop, this country Italian restaurant has a bar that early afternoon imbibers find conducive to a little easy afternoon reading. Bartender Brad took our testing pretty seriously, but we were undeterred by his wily attempts to bribe us.

29.4º

MUGGSY'S

501 Main St., Meridian, 898-9470

Daily 11 a.m.-2 a.m.

$2.50, Budweiser

A great place to watch the race for free, Muggsy's has an unintentional space theme. It's the sports bar of the future! All the furniture is carved right out of a tree, there are more TVs than we know what to do with and you can rock out to the Led.

29.7º

LINDY'S

STEAKHOUSE

6290 N. Meeker Ave., 376-4258

M-Sa: 11 a.m.-2 a.m. (bar), M-Th: 5:30-10 p.m., F-Sa: 5-10 p.m.

$2.25, Coors Light

They definitely serve 'em cold in west Boise as is evident by our top three winners and Lindy's never disappoints. Awesome finger steaks and shuffleboard to boot. Yee haw!
