The Estates at Corrente Bello is a collection of custom-built Tuscan-inspired luxury homes that sits just north of Floating Feather near Eagle Middle School. An impressive stone bell tower marks the entrance to Corrente Bello. Although the subdivision is still under development, the liberal use of stone and stucco on the exteriors of the neighborhood's first dozen or so homes sets an inviting tone for those remaining to be built. A walking path loops through the area past a trio of small private lakes. The community pool features a bathhouse and a covered patio complete with wi-fi access so the whole family can both work and splash on warm summer days.
The horseshoe-style layout of the home at 981 W. Cherry Bello places an oversized three-car garage, a spacious laundry room and the luxurious master suite on one side of the house, the living room in the center, and the formal dining room, kitchen and three remaining bedrooms on the other side of the house. From the front sidewalk, a long walkway leads beneath an impressive archway and ends in a private courtyard. The home's front door is made of solid alder. As you enter, the living room sits at 12 o'clock, the master suite is hidden to the left, and the formal dining room and kitchen are visible to the right. Pella wood windows in the living room look out on the neatly landscaped back yard and a grassy soccer field that belongs to the middle school situated behind the property. The living room and dining room share a two-sided fireplace that has been wired so you can mount flat panel televisions above the fireplace in both rooms. The home also boasts Cat5 wiring and a six-zone NuVo sound system that enables you to listen to the same music throughout the house or different music in every room.
The gourmet kitchen features slab granite countertops and top-of-the-line Viking stainless steel appliances. Knotty alder cabinetry stained a medium-dark brown color and travertine tile flooring in a random "Versailles" pattern make the space comfortable and inviting. A bay window in the spacious breakfast nook looks beyond the front courtyard and into a bay window seating area on the opposite side of the house. From the kitchen, a hallway leads to a full bathroom, two bedrooms and one mini suite with its own bathroom and shower. The hallway features a pair of built-in, lighted art nooks that will accommodate paintings or photographs.
Moving back up the hallway and past the kitchen and living room, you'll find the entrance to the master suite. The master bedroom features the home's second fireplace with space for another flat panel television above it. The master bathroom has heated travertine floors, a dual vanity, a huge walk-in shower with an adjustable-height shower head, and a jetted bathtub. Exit the master suite and you'll head down another hallway past a simple guest bathroom and a bay window seat that faces the breakfast nook on the opposite side of the courtyard. At the end of the hall is the entrance to the three-car garage. Take a sharp right and you'll enter a spacious laundry room/mud room with a deep utility sink, lots of storage cabinets and hanging rods, and access outside to the driveway.
Pros: Upgrades galore, too many to highlight. The functional floor plan feels both cozy and spacious. Split bedroom plan separates master bedroom from the others.
Cons: Subdivision construction is ongoing, so it may be a few years before all the neighboring homes are built.
