When 13th Street Pub and Grill took over the former Bungalow space in Hyde Park, the new owners sunk a pretty penny into the patio space, adding removable glass windows and a central fire pit surrounded by seats.
Now 13th Street has ratcheted things up another notch, putting all other patios in town to shivering shame.
"We put in geothermal heating underneath, so the floor radiates the heat from underneath and goes up," said wine purchaser Tony Baker.
The toe-warming remodel, which took approximately two weeks to complete, "was not inexpensive," said Baker, chuckling.
