The Sixties rock Boise. Again.
At The Bouquet on March 26, San Francisco-based hard-rock band The Soft White Sixites—a Treefort alumnus and frequent visitor to Boise—had worked up the crowd plenty with honeyed vocals, driving dance grooves and raucous guitar. When TSWS played the smooth pop-rock tune "I Ain't Your Mother" as an encore, the floodgates burst: More than a dozen people joined the band onstage to dance and jump around.
"Boise's one of our favorite places to play in this country," bassist Ryan Noble said earlier in the set.
The feeling is mutual.
