Bogus Basin Ski Patrol Brings Back Wax & Beer Nights

  • Bogus Basin Ski Patrol
The Wax & Beer nights put on by Bogus Basin Ski Patrol have just about everything needed to fill a skier's or snowboarder's heart (sans snow): hot ski/snowboard waxing from Bogus Basin ski patrollers ($12 for skis, $15 for snowboards), a complimentary craft brew, ski and board movies shown on the patio, and a bunch of patio heaters.

For the second year in a row, Bogus Basin Ski Patrol will host the Wax & Beer nights Thursdays at Sockeye Grill and Brewery on Dec. 4 and Dec. 18, as well as Jan. 8 and Jan. 22, from 6-9 p.m.

Proceeds support the mountain's ski patrol operations, which are overseen by an independent volunteer organization with 180 members providing first aid and support.
