Bend, Ore.-based microbrewery 10 Barrel Brewing Co. has been bought by beer titan Anheuser-Busch for an as-yet undisclosed sum.
According to a video released on 10 Barrel's Facebook page
, the brewery has been purchased. 10 Barrel partner and co-founder Garrett Wales explained the sale will not cause relocation or displacement of brewing operations.
"Things aren't changing. We've still got the same brew team intact," he said.
The purchase does, however, mean the microbrewery will have new branding tools at its disposal, as well as new products.
10 Barrel opened
its Boise location, which serves both beer and food, on April 22, 2013, after settling issues with Idaho's Alcohol Beverage Control over whether the brewery could sell beer brewed in Oregon
