The works of three groundbreaking modern artists are set for display beginning Saturday, Aug. 30, at the Boise Art Museum.
The exhibition, titled Arp, Miro, Calder
, includes featured works by French artist Jean Arp (1886-1966), Spaniard Joan Miro (1893-1983) and American Alexander Calder (1898-1976). It will display their pioneering experiments in color, line and form that progressed the Modernist artistic movement during the early 20th century.
Borrowing from Buffalo, New York's Albright-Knox Art Gallery's collection, the exhibit runs through Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015.
