Crazy Horse, which will open in the space vacated by the former Red Room, which was in the space once occupied by the (original) Crazy Horse, has announced acts that will play its grand opening scheduled for Friday, Sept. 12..

The celebration will feature live performances by Caustic Resin and Heibarger with support from Meat Jesus, The Raven and the Writing Desk (from Denver, Colo., it's the only band not from Boise), Storie Grubb & the Holy Wars, and Meth House Party Band.

The lease was signed for the longtime music venue on June 3 and since then, business owners Tim Harris, Wes Malvini and Eric Penney have been working on renovations. They're also working on securing a liquor license but, for the time being, they have a license to serve wine and beer.
